Retainer

Sprint

Time horizon: 3-10 weeks, fixed

Cadence: building crescendo to one date

Outcome: bums on seats for one specific meeting

Most clubs run both — a Retainer for the year, plus a Sprint or two when a big meeting's on the horizon. Standard Saturday meetings? Those run on your Retainer's weekly drumbeat — no Sprint needed. Save Sprints for the meetings that move the needle.
